Brain anti-ageing – making healthy lifestyle habits is key

In this summary talk, I focus on a complex theme ways to adapt to prevent brain ageing, which came about from being in practice over the last 15 years, listening, learning from brilliant doctors, seminars and through my education as a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner (Institute of Functional Medicine). This has allowed me to share the key points of the “why and how” our brain ageing occurs, and what kind of lifestyle factors can be addressed. Brain health is complex, being effected by many systems hormones, gut, neurotransmitters and by how we choose to live our lifestyles. That means there is something we can do every day to contribute to the disease or health of our brains, its our choice.
